Although I do not remember the buses...I do remember your final high school summer camp as a camper...and have been forever grateful God allowed our paths to intersect and remain connected.
Congratulations author Jennifer Lord!!! Thank you for continuing to take those baby steps and persevere through them...it will only be a matter of time before I read your first book :). I am confident it is not a question of if, but rather a question of when ~ God in His perfect timing will continue to bring all of it into perfect alignment and then there will one day be the grand unveil.
As silly as it may be, Sunday I had the opportunity to re-watch The Princess Diaries. Once again the following quote struck a cord deep within and I thought it might bring you some encouragement as well:
"Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear. The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all. From now on you'll be traveling the road between who you think you are and who you can be. The key is to allow yourself to make the journey."
Thank you for allowing yourself to make the journey. In the midst of appreciating the "small things", please promise you will never stop dreaming the BIG dreams God has placed deep within you...including those already discovered and those yet to be unmined.
Please also promise as you are appreciating the "small things" to breathe in and breathe out...to continue enjoying life and living it to the fullest.
In February of 2009, we will have been together half our lives! I become more fully who God created me to be because of Craig's influence in my life!
My little congregation
What a priviledge it is to raise these future women, wives and mommys! They bring me unimagineable joy, and teach me daily about my relationship with my heavenly Father!
17 years ago, we said "I do" to each other and "yes" to God - and from that day on, nothing has gone the way we planned. Yet through it all, we have learned what it means to be true disciples of Jesus, fallen more in love with each other, brought two beautiful girls into this world, and learned that God's daily work in us on the journey is just as important as the day of fulfillment...that we're still believing Him to bring.
